SCOTT CHATHAM

Scott Chatham   |   Founder and President

Almost thirty years ago, his wage for a week's work was about $135. He was a landscape laborer and proud to be part of the prestigious Post Properties Landscaping crew.

He continued his landscaping pursuit at Post, eventually earning the Doug Bates Memorial Scholarship for outstanding vocational and academic performance and later a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the College of Environment & Design at the University of Georgia. Scott also studied landscape architecture abroad at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

Following his studies, Scott worked in different capacities in Atlanta's most respected landscape firms, even acting as lead designer for some of Atlanta's signature projects, including North Point Mall, Wildwood Office Park and Bank of America Plaza. He founded Chatham Landscape Services in 2001 with the sole intention of providing discerning homeowners first-class landscape design and installation with the appreciable personal service that would foster enduring relationships. Today the company is among the most respected in its field and fastest growing in its market.

Scott lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Darlene, and their children, Laurel Lee and Joe.
